My smallest cat to date: The Paddling CataRaft is an 82" long x 28" clear between the tubes optimized for an eight foot oar. Shown without the thigh brace, this configuration works well with the fisherman sitting atop a 12 x 24 igloo cooler. The frame as illustrated is $650. It weighs about 55 lbs. The optimum tube size is 20" diameter. This frame will fit 17" to 26" diameter tubes. RowFrame....Yeah, We Make That!
Pipe size (1.5"NPS the industry standard). Alloy 6061 in the T6 temper. Fittings are aluminum alloy 383 with stainless set screws. Pins are provided at critical junctures. Overall width (20" tubes) is 69" for narrow passages.
